We decided to give Bon Echo Provincial Park a second chance and lucked into booking a really amazing site in September! What a difference a few months makes… hardly any mosquitos this time around, which made it easy to love this park.

Holly came in handy this year when we dropped our oldest off for his third year of University. Sudbury is a bit far to do in one day (we’ve done it and don’t recommend!), so bringing Holly gave us a place to stay in a very self contained and safe way.

We spent our final night of our trip through Northern Ontario at Samuel de Champlain Provincial Park. It was mainly a stop to break up the final leg of our trip, so we weren’t there for long but we enjoyed the park and hope to be back again soon!
